Can I have recurring activities in Pipedrive? Yes, with Recurring Activities for Pipedrive.
Last updated:
Pipedrive has no native recurring activities: its own help article, "Can I have recurring activities in Pipedrive?", says there is no dedicated way to create them. Recurring Activities for Pipedrive adds them: set a schedule once on a deal, person or organization, and the activities appear in Pipedrive on time, even if the previous one is not marked done.
Typical uses: a weekly check-in call with a key account, a monthly report on the first Monday, a quarterly business review, a daily follow-up during onboarding. Today, teams fake this with Zapier schedules, with "when done, create the next activity" automations, or by syncing a recurring event from their calendar. Each of these breaks in a different way.
The options compared
| "When done, create next" automation | Zapier schedule | Calendar sync | Recurring Activities for Pipedrive | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Activity not marked done | The chain stops: no next activity | Keeps running | Keeps running | Keeps running: activities follow the schedule |
| Schedules | "In X days" after completion | Daily, weekly or monthly triggers, one Zap per schedule | Whatever your calendar supports | Daily, weekly on chosen days, monthly on day N or on the Nth weekday, with end date or count |
| Linked to a deal, person or organization | Yes | Yes, if you map the IDs in each Zap | No, synced events are grayed out and cannot be edited in Pipedrive | Yes, set from the record itself |
| Edit or stop the whole series | Edit the automation, past chains keep going | Edit or turn off each Zap | In the external calendar only | One click in the panel: edit, pause, resume or delete |
How it works
- Install the app from the Pipedrive Marketplace and allow access. A Recurring activities panel appears on every deal, person and organization page.
- Create a series in the panel: subject, activity type, owner, duration, note, and the schedule (for example, every week on Monday and Thursday at 09:00, or every month on the first Monday), with an optional end date or number of occurrences.
- Activities appear on their own. Every 15 minutes, the app makes sure each series has its activities in Pipedrive for the next 14 days, linked to the record, assigned to the owner. Edit, pause or delete the series from the same panel at any time.

Frequently asked questions
Can I have recurring activities in Pipedrive?
Not natively. Pipedrive's own help article says there is no dedicated way to create recurring activities. Recurring Activities for Pipedrive adds them: you set a schedule on a deal, person or organization, and the app creates the activities in Pipedrive up to 14 days ahead.
Does it still work if an activity is not marked done?
Yes. Activities follow the schedule, not the completion of the previous one. If you skip or forget to mark an activity as done, the next ones are still created on their dates. This is the main difference with "when done, create the next activity" automations.
Which schedules are supported?
Every N days, every N weeks on the weekdays you pick, every N months on a given day (1 to 28, or the last day), and every N months on the first, second, third, fourth or last weekday, for example the first Monday. A series can end never, on a date, or after a number of occurrences. Times follow the timezone you choose, including daylight saving time changes.
Can I edit or stop a whole series?
Yes. Editing a series applies to future activities: those not done yet are recreated with the new settings, and done or past activities are kept. You can pause and resume a series, or delete it and choose whether its future activities that are not done are deleted too.
What happens when I uninstall the app?
When Pipedrive tells us the app was uninstalled, we delete your access tokens, your series and their history right away, and cancel your subscription if you have one. Activities already created stay in Pipedrive as normal activities. We only keep your Pipedrive company ID and the end date of your free trial, so the trial does not restart on reinstall.
Where is my data stored?
Series settings are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in the European Union (Paris). The app stores only what it needs to create activities: subject, type, owner, duration, note, schedule and the ID of the linked record. It does not copy your deals, contacts or emails. Pipedrive access tokens are encrypted. Payments are handled by Stripe. See the privacy policy.
How much does it cost?
14-day free trial from install, no card needed. Then 7.99 USD per company per month, whatever the number of users. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location. If the trial ends without a subscription, no new activities are created and your series are kept until you subscribe.
